Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai: actors resume shooting

After three months of break on account of the coronavirus outbreak, actors Aasif Sheikh, Shubhangi Atre and Rohitashv Gour stopped shooting for popular comedy series “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai” with restricted crew and several security measures.

The shooting began on Sunday.

I had been waiting so long for the shoots to start and I am glad to be back on the set. All of us met and greeted each other with distant hellos and namastes, keeping social distancing criteria in mind,” said Aasif Sheikh, who essays the use of Vibhuti Narayan in the show.

“On reaching the group, our own body temperature and oxygen levels were monitored. We all wore masks that we removed only while confronting the camera. The day began with a small Ganapati Ji “so aarti accompanied by getting in to our character appearance. We all took the utmost attention to abide by the cleanliness and safety rules and followed social distancing in any respect times,” he further added.

For this, Shubhagi additional “I am excited to return to the collections and looking forward to our series to be back with new episodes as well shortly. Formerly our set was buzzing with technicians, spot dadas and the rest of the crew every morning but now with restricted men and women, the colony appear quite distinct.”

“After emptying the sanitation and screening procedure, we assembled for a short Ganesh aarti for an auspicious start, followed by rehearsals sporting masks. Since I live near, I really did my own make-up and wore my costume to the set for nominal touch-ups.

Also, we are restricting our group lunches and fretting to person breaks to prevent gathering. The whole experience was quite different, however with time, all of us will get used to it,” added that the performer, who plays the role of Angoori Bhabi.

“We assured that we continued wearing masks after each chance, sanitized our hands at regular intervals and maintained social distancing. I am excited about the newest episodes, and I am sure the viewers are anticipating their favorite show creating a comeback soon,” said Rohitashv Gour aka Manmohan Tiwari of all “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai”.
