Ginger Kadha or Herbal Drink: The traditional way of consuming ginger is in herbal-tea /kadha/ herbal-drink. Take a glass of water and add some small pieces of ginger. Also add a few basil leaves, black pepper, Mulethi (Liquorice Root), boil water until it half. When it turns into half, Sieve it in a cup.
After Sieve add one or two tea-spoon of honey according to your taste, not more than two-spoon. And Drink it like a tea or coffee. Regular intake of this kadha will help in curing several common ailments such as cold, cough, Sneezing, headache and sore throat.
Giloy Kadha or Herbal Drink: Giloy also known as “Tinospora Cordifolia” or “Heart-leaved moonseed”. It is the pro of all home remedies. It not only works on common cold, but also boosts your body immunity naturally, and also preferable home remedies for Dengue fever.
Bring some Giloy leaves or stem, and break it in small pieces. Take 4 glasses of water and add them. Add some few basil leaves, little black-pepper, half-spoon mulethi and half-spoon Ashwagandha. And boil it until half. After that Sieve it another container. Add two teaspoons of honey.
Now your Giloy Kadha or Herbal Drink is ready. Drink one cup of it, with 2 to 3 hour interval. Don’t need to warm it again, you can use as it.
