Four arrested after encounter in UP’s Shamli

Muzaffarnagar, Jul 6 (Owlgen): Four people wanted in a number of instances of loot were arrested from the neighbouring Shamli district following two separate encounters, authorities said on Monday.

Shamli Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal stated that they were all injured throughout the encounters on Sunday and so are currently in a hospital.

1 encounter took place at Kairana (Shamli district), whereas another at the Shamli town at different times, the SP said.

A policeman even received bullet injuries during the surgery and has been hospitalied, he explained.

The authorities have identified the four arrested as Shivam, Sushil, Amit and Aman Kumar.

They were wanted in a number of cases of lootthey said.

The SP declared a reward of Rs 25,000 for its authorities teams involved in the operation.
