Gigabyte held a new product launch event in Vietnam. At the press conference, Gigabyte exhibited new motherboards, graphics cards and display products. One of the most surprising is the AORUS FV43U, Gigabyte’s first 43-inch large-size gaming monitor.
In terms of hardware specifications, this AORUS FV43U monitor adopts a 43-inch specification, and uses quantum dot QLED technology in panel technology. This technology often appears in high-end flagship TVs, but is relatively rare in computer monitors.
This technology has excellent color performance and super high contrast. In terms of resolution and refresh rate, such a huge display undoubtedly uses 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. In terms of color, AORUS FV43U has a 10-bit panel with a color gamut of 97% DCI-P3.
What surprises players the most is that this display has a peak brightness of 1000nits and has passed the Displayed 1000 certification. Players can watch movies and game scenes with a larger light-to-dark ratio through this display, bringing a more realistic and shocking visual experience.
According to reports, the AORUS FV43U monitor also supports HDMI2.1 technology, with a maximum bandwidth of 48Gbps, which is 267% higher than the current mainstream HDMI2.0 technology.
It can not only support 4K/120Hz display, but also 8K/60Hz. Applied in games, this technology allows players to play games at 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, and at the same time turn on the variable refresh rate. Currently, this display is open for reservations in Asia.
