Microsoft acquires CyberX to boost and secure customers’ IoT deployments

Microsoft has obtained a security startup named CyberX to to accelerate and secure customers Internet of Things (IoT) deployments.

Details of the deal weren’t disclosed but press reports said the purchase might be approximately $165 million.

“CyberX will match the present Azure IoT security capacities, also extends to present apparatus such as those utilized in industrial IoT, Operational Technology and infrastructure situations,” the technology giant said in an announcement on Monday.
